Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! What a fun day for the kids! What a NOT SO FUN day for all of us teachers!! We all decided at school yesterday that Halloween should be the last Saturday of October rather than the 31st! It's just a CRAZY day and day after!!!

Anyway, here are y three crazy girls at a Halloween party this weekend. This year, we have Mereda from Brave, and 80's Girl and Cinderella.

And this wig on my 4 year old is just so funny, I begged her to wear it around the house!! And, she acts like a wild red head too, so it's perfect!

I'm giving you a little sneak peak of one of the Gift Card Holders from my Christmas 2012 Project Planner! All the projects are quick and easy for you to make during the holiday season! If your interested in getting yourself a Project Planner, scroll down for the details!

2012 Christmas Project Planner

In this Project Planner, you will find a large variety of projects to help you get through the upcoming holiday season quickly and creatively! You will find many options for easily reproducible Christmas Cards, Gift Card Holders and Treat Holders. These projects feature current stamp sets found in the 12-13 Stampin’ Up! Catalog as well as the 2012 Holiday Catalog.

You are welcome to use these projects for your own personal use or to design a class for your own business. I designed these projects for my own Stamp a Stack, Stamp Clubs and Stamp Camps. I designed them to use a wide variety of materials so that each station would not have to share a stamp, punch or die. There is a small amount of overlap, but for your event, you should be able to easily set up stamping stations with out needing to share products.

If you are looking to use this for your own personal use, you will find a very wide variety and easily adjusted projects. Many can use DSP and stamps interchangeably. Substituting punches and stamps you already own will work easily.

What’s included?

Step by step instructions with full color project photos for 21 projects!
(11 Christmas Cards, 5 Gift Card Holders and 5 Treat Holders.)

HSS #142-Tags!

This week's Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a great one for this time of the year: TAGS! I always need tags!!

I chose to make a wine tag. I think wine tags are a wonderful way to dress up a regular bottle of wine that you take to a get together.

I used one of the ornaments from the Keepsake Ornament Stamp Set. I stamped it four times and scored them down the middle. I glued them back to back to create the 3D effect.

And the Whisper White Sweater Trim to finish it off.

The sentiment is from More Merry Messages and was embossed in gold embossing powder.

So, kill two birds with one stone; get a few gift tags made and enter the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Witchy Buisness- FMU83

Are you gearing up for Halloween? I LOVE Halloween. I know, lots of people "don't celebrate Halloween." I get that, but to me, it's all about the kids and the pumpkin and the candy! I have such fond memories of trick or treating and I want that for my kids too. The build up, the days leading up to the big day. It's just a rite of passage, I think! So, with that, today's FMU challenge is very "bewitching!"

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with a "Witch".
  2. Or Make a project using "Bleach".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with a "Witch using a Bleach Technique".

I didn't get the bleaching in... Boo! But, I did get the Witch in, that's for sure!

I just love these colors together for Halloween; Elegant Eggplant, basic Black, Tangerine Tango and More Mustard. These have been my go to colors all month! The boot and sentiment are from Bootiful Occasions, the hat is from  Jack of all Trades.

And what a fun bow, right? It's in the Holiday Catalog and is called Striped satin Ribbon. Make sure you jump back over to the Friday Mash Up and see what  the other designers have come up with!

Did you know that Stampin Up is having a HUGE event on Monday!? Yes! It's called

 Sell A Stamp Spooktacular!
Every stamp will be 15% off on Monday, October 29th only.

So to sweeten the deal for you, I am offering double punches that day on your rewards cards! And, you can be entered in a drawing for a FREE Christmas stamp set! So, set your phone alarms ladies! Place an order with me on Monday and get rewarded!

And, just in time for this sale, Stampin' Up has released even more single stamps! I'm loving these!!

Acorn Pennants! HSS

This week's challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a photo inspiration. Just perfect for our wonderful fall weather were having (NOT!! It's in the 90s!! BOO!) But, i can pretend...

Since receiving Wonderfall from SU in my Artisan box last month, I just can't get enough of it! It is such an easy to use, bold stamp set! Today's inspiration lent itself easily to Wonderfall leaves!

I have to say, I love this page! I do a lot of stuff that to me is just "alright." Occasionally, I do something that I truly love. This is one of them. I think I'm going to frame it! LOL!
The leaf was dicut and run through the crimper many times to give it some work texture. The stamps are from our SU Convention set this past year called I Am. Love it!

The background was again done with the Wood Grain wheel I used last month on the Blue Glass page. It quickly creates wood planks beautifully! The "nails" are just drawn with a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker.

Pennant? You know me, of course!!
So what do you think? Sweet and simple, eh? I actually based this page on a page found on Pinterest.

So, what does this week's Hand Stamped Sentiment's picture inspire you to make? Hop back over to HSS and see what the other designers have done and then show us what you've come up with!

It's beginning to look alot like....

Hello! It's time for another fabulous Friday Mashup challenge! It's getting closer and closer to the holiday season and that means getting out holiday decorations that make your home sparkle and shine. So that is what I propose for this challenge. Make a Christmas ornament and make it sparkle! It's never too early to start preparing for Christmas!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with a "Christmas Ornament".
  2. Or Make a project with some "Sparkle".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Christmas Project with some Sparkle".

I've been working on two projects this month; November's Christmas Card Buffet and a new Christmas Project Planner. Slowly, it's coming together! So, this card will be part of both!

I love the Merry Minis in the Holiday catalog. It also comes with matching punches! And, I brought out last years popular Merry and Type (in the big catalog!). Don't you think that's the perfect sentiment for this card! I colored the stamp with Stampin' Write markers to get the multicolored image. I finished it all off with my paper piercer.

I also used this fun sketch from Retro Sketches:

Make sure you hop over to The Friday Mash Up to see what the other designers have come up with and then get busy creating! Make sure you come back and link up with us!
