ABC, 123- FMU125

It's FRIDAY!! And it's been the longest week in the history of... EVER! UHG! Thank goodness it's a three day weekend! That means you have lots of extra time to play with the Friday Mash Up too! And, we've got a Back to School type challenge for you!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project with using "A-B-C (use elements on your projects starting with the letters A, B, C). "
  2. Create a project using a "1-2-3 card recipe (1 embellishment, 2 Stamp Sets, 3 Colors) ."
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a project "A-B-C & a 1,2,3 card recipe. "
Ok, so here are my ABCs and 123s:
1-Framelit (Oval)
2- Stamps (Alphabetized and Another Thank You Photopolymer Set),
3 Colors (Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey)
A- Alphabet
 B- Bow
C- Chalk Pen

Whew! that was a lot of BRAIN work for this tired teacher! But, it was a fun PUSH to be creative and made me really think as I created this card.

No, make sure you check out the other ladies at The Friday Mash Up!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Artisan Wednesday Wow Blog Hop- Smarties!

Welcome to the  2013-2014 Artisan Design Team Wednesday Wow Blog Hop!
I'm so happy you have stopped by today!

I hope you are not sick of seeing my school projects... I've just been doing double duty these days with SU and school! It makes getting ready for my "real job" more fun! This little sign was created to hang in my room.

I started with a wood arrow from The Wood Connection. I painted the edges with black craft paint. I traced it on the back side of the Modern Medley DSP and cut it out. I adhered it with mod podge and sanded the edges.

The letters were created using MDS elements. First, I imported the typeset Alpha punches into my Cameo and then stretched them out to just the right size. I then cut them out of Coasterboard. Yummy! Love this stuff! And yes, the Cameo will cut through Coasterboard. I sprayed them with Adhesive Spray and sprinkled  Black Stampin' Glitter over each one. Perfection!! Last, I added some Black Chevron Ribbon, Melon Mambo Taffeta Ribbon and Whisper White Grosgrain ribbon to the wire. Fun to make and cute to hang up!

OK, your off to the wonderful Jane Lee!
Make sure to leave her some love at the bottom of her post!

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Star- HSS 167

Good morning everyone! it's time for another Hand Stamped Sentiments! And it's a beautiful sketch!!

I didn't stick to the sketch. I kind of want to do it over because I really do love that circle..
Anyhow, I do LOVE this new SIngle Stamp called Christmas Star. Wow. It's awesome!

Here, I stamped it in Silver ink on Basic Black Cardstock. I didn't emboss it, that;s just the ink! Then, I scored it on the lines and attached it with Dimensionals. Simple, yet big wow factor! It is layered over my favorite Modern Medley DSP.

Make sure you check out the other VERY talented ladies over at Hand Stamped Sentiments and then get busy with the sketch!

Mystery Hostess ends tonight at 9PM CST!! We're almost to $400 (the magic number where one person earns a half price item) and are currently giving $50 in Hostess Benefits away!

September Scrap Mail

It's that time again! Last month was the very first Scrap Mail and it was a GREAT success! Thank you to everyone who participated! I'm even more excited about this month's pages!

September's double page layout features Magnificent maple (wood mount only) and the very popular Positively Chevron Background Stamp. It also features components from the Thankful Tablescape Kit.

Clear mount-$35, Wood mount -$41

Details for Scrap Mail:
·        Each month, you will receive a stamp set, priced between $14.95 and $23.95 in the mail along with the components (patterned paper and embellishments) to make two 12” X 12” scrapbook pages. I have chosen to not include the actual 12”x12” paper because the cost of shipping goes up significantly. This saves you on the cost of the kit. You can either provide background paper from your stash or order a pack from me your first month. I will stick with Neutral cardstock to make it easy for us.
·        Along with your fully created component’s (all you will have to do is adhere them to your background paper, add your pictures and your journaling) you will receive a full color printout with supply list, page sketches and three more ways to use the stamp set.  Each page will include a title (sometimes I will use MDS, sometimes the Silhouette, sometimes stamped) as well as journaling spot.

·        Each month, I will post photos of that month’s projects as well as ordering info on the first of the month (or earlier when I can!). You will be able to “opt in or out” each month. There is no long term commitment.

·        I will have ordering open for one week only. I will order your stamp set as soon as you pay me via Pay Pal. The second week of the month, I will create the page components and have all of it in the mail to you the third week.

·        Each month, when you order, you may also order additional items to your order. You may also substitute a stamp set if you already have the one I am featuring, but still want the instructions and kit.

·        After you participate for three consecutive months, your fourth month will be $5 off.  After 7 consecutive months, you get $10 off.  After 11 consecutive months, your 12th month is free!

Ordering Deadline: September 8
